Charlie Morris

Friends on the Town and South Hills Program Manager
He recently moved to Pittsburgh from the Washington D.C. area. After a career as an economist, he shifted into education, spending the last eight years helping dozens of young adults strengthen their independent living skills and prepare for careers. He has spent the last two years training and working alongside young adults in a culinary arts and catering business, fostering teamwork and confidence in a hands-on environment where students did everything from shop for ingredients, cook or bake, deliver, and on occasion, cater large community events. Charlie has lots of childhood memories of Pittsburgh from visits to his grandparents, and is grateful to call the city home and be closer to family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, running, and coaching high school soccer. He’s a big Liverpool FC fan and is open to becoming a Steelers fan, to his family’s delight.
