The Friendship Circle of Pittsburgh

Community Events

Building a more inclusive community happens one connection at a time, and our community-wide events create the moments where those connections flourish. Designed with intention to break down barriers and spark genuine friendships, these gatherings offer opportunities to learn, connect, and discover how each of us can contribute to a more inclusive Pittsburgh.

Led by our Alumni Council, FCTalks is a speaker series dedicated to advancing the conversation on disability advocacy, inclusion, and systemic change. Through expert panels and community dialogue, FCTalks creates space for meaningful learning and connection - bringing together advocates, families and allies to move the needle on the issues that matter most.

Transforming the Jewish Communal Response to Suicide

May 6th, 2026

Transforming the Jewish Communal Response to Suicide is a community conversation centered on loss, support and hope. This event brings together families, professionals and community members to talk openly about how suicide impacts our communities and how we can show up for one another with compassion and care. Through shared conversation and lived experience, we’ll explore ways to reduce stigma, support those affected and create space for healing and connection.

Walk4Friendship 2026

Fall of 2026

Walk4Friendship is Friendship Circle Pittsburgh's annual community driven fundraising effort which brings together hundreds of supporters, members and organizations for a one-mile walk followed by a carnival celebration!

Each year individuals, businesses, schools, nonprofits, religious organizations, and other groups form "walk teams" and fundraise to support Friendship Circle’s year-round programming.

Walk4Friendship is about showing up and demonstrating our collective commitment to inclusion! Our next Walk will take place in the Fall of 2026.
