Friendship Spotlight: Lieba & Lucy

What do you like to do together?

Lieba: “We like to play board games, and do crafts together. Remember when we made bracelets at ‘Dice Friends? I still have that bracelet (points to her wrist).“

Lucy: “Oh that’s so sweet! I think you can really bond over making art; everyone kind of does if differently.“

Any good advice for making friends?

Lieba: “Probably, you should start off slow. Say ‘Hi‘ every morning. And then increase the conversation.“

Lucy: “Be open to meeting different types of people. You never know who is going to become your friend.“

How did you two first meet?

Lucy: “We were always in the same group at ‘Dice Friends. We were just around each other a lot, and were friendly to each other before we became friends.“

Have you ever had a serious disagreement? How did you handle it?

Lucy: “Not yet!“

Lieba: “If we did, we’d probably talk it out right away. It’s best to not be too aggressive. Be soft-spoken. Find the middle ground.“

Lucy and Lieba are both juniors at Allderdice, who met through ‘Dice Friends. They also have the same birthday, and will celebrate it together at The Beacon.
