Bunny Bakes Runs on Friendship
May 18, 2026

At Bunny Bakes, friendships are built right alongside the goodies. Just ask Marissa and Sheryl.
What started as Bunny Bakes training quickly turned into something much bigger for the two longtime best friends. Since meeting through Friendship Circle, Marissa and Sheryl have become inseparable, spending time together at trainings, movie nights, Friends on the Town dinners and coffee dates at Bunny Bakes.
“We became besties at Bunny Bakes and now we do everything together,” the two shared.
Some of their favorite memories have come from the simple moments shared together in the kitchen. Scooping cookie dough, frosting treats, packing boxes, helping prep meals and working alongside new people have all become part of their friendship story. Both love chocolate chip cookies and one of their favorite parts of training is making treats side by side.

Their friendship grew even stronger after spending time together at Friendship Circle programs and community events over the past year. Whether they are laughing during Bunny Bakes training or helping serve dinner at Friends on the Town, the two bring so much joy and energy wherever they go.
At its heart, Bunny Bakes is about more than coffee and desserts. It is about creating opportunities for connection, confidence, inclusion and meaningful friendships. Marissa and Sheryl are a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people are given a space to belong.
