A Night Just for Dads

Sometimes the simplest evenings are the best ones.

This past week, Friendship Circle dads gathered on the rooftop for our annual Dads' Night BBQ, an evening filled with good food, great conversation and plenty of laughs.

As one dad put it, "Dads don't require a lot. Set up a grill, get a cooler full of ice and beer and you're good."

For a few hours, dads had the chance to relax, connect with one another and enjoy time together outside of their usual day-to-day responsibilities. The grill was always busy, classic rock and '90s hits sparked some friendly debate about the best music era, and Bunny Bakes snacks helped keep everyone fueled for the evening.

Even when rain clouds rolled in, it wasn't enough to slow things down. Conversations continued, stories were shared and new connections were made as dads gathered together in community.

At Friendship Circle, we know that support systems matter for everyone, including parents. Events like Dads' Night create space for connection, friendship and the opportunity to spend time with people who understand the joys and challenges of raising a family.
