Game Club

We spent our last Game Club of the 23-24 program year playing Pittsburgh BINGO and making our own board game characters out of clay. We finished the day with a game of Sticker Stalker and a snack bar. Thanks to our members who devised and launched Game Club, as well as everyone who attended and made it a success!

FOTT Trip

We enjoyed the perfect weather at Cool Springs Sports Complex on Sunday! Our members played golf and used the multi-sport simulator to play zombie dodgeball, soccer, hockey, and basketball. CeCe, Mike, and Marissa sang on the bus. Tomas was hitting the ball so far (living up to his last name of Bird!), and Elena had fun figuring out who in her group had birthdays close to each other. Thanks to everyone for an awesome day!

Sports League

We mixed it up at Sports League on Wednesday by playing alternative dodgeball games like pin dodgeball, where you throw dodge balls at bowling pin targets, and hula huts, where players defend their hula hoop forts from being knocked down by dodge balls. The group showed great teamwork building the hula hoop forts! Chana and Atara did a great job on defense.  Thanks to everyone for being team players!

Over the Top

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT BY RABBI MORDY This week’s Parsha (Ki Teitzei) is chock full of Mitzvot, 74 in all! One of the many that I would like to focus on is both seriously practical, and also serves as a deeper lesson. We are commanded to “erect a fence around your roofs.” (Okay, admittedly I like this one because our… Read More
