Summer Meet & Greet

Our first Summer Meet & Greet was sunshine and smiles on the rooftop as well as through town on our walk to Rita’s! Griffin and Menucha Leah enjoyed playing with fun inflatables and taking silly pictures. We listened to music, played lawn games, and got together to strut down Murray Ave to get our Italian Ice which was a nice sweet treat on a hot day. Avi and Theo enjoyed looking at the shops on our walk and talking with community members on the way. Members enjoyed mango, cherry, cotton candy, and lemon flavored ice and we walked back to FC to end the day. It was so nice spending some time outside, and we can’t wait to do it again in July!

Upon its conclusion, the synagogue traditionally calls out in unison, “Chazak chazak venischazek!” This translates to mean, “Be strong, be strong and may we be strengthened,” thus giving us a little inspiration and charge to move on into the next book, and… Read More
