Sunday Funday

Sunday Funday was spent laughing out loud at our comedy magic show where Sugar & Spice brought cool tricks, fun music, and even bunnies! Members got to enjoy some hot chocolate with marshmallows for the show.  Then, we all got crafty and made some winter scenes with little figurines that members put in instant snow! Lastly, in our great room, we enjoyed painting watercolors with salt where our snowflake paintings were transformed into fun designs right before our eyes.

Members enjoy a magic show from Sugar & Spice.

I-Volunteer

This week, adults from the Pittsburgh community came together to give back. We were joined by our friends at Our Giving Kitchen who led us in making falafel, couscous, and chocolate chip cookies. We then packaged and put stickers on the packaging. Our Giving Kitchen opens their doors to the community to offer up free meals to those who need it. We appreciate our ongoing support from our partners including The Jewish Federation, The Branch, Chabad on Campus, Hillel at Pitt, Repair the World, and Chabad Young Professionals. For more information on getting involved in I-Volunteer reach out to our Adult & Partnerships Manager, Paige, at [email protected].

Members prepare meals for Our Giving Kitchen.
