Winter Camp

Winter Camp was a “Cosmic Quest for Friendship” this year! On Wednesday, we soared to new heights at Urban Air Adventure Park, where members enjoyed a zip line, ropes course, bumper cars, and trampoline. We also played some Winter Bingo and “Pass the Parcel” where members got to know each other better! On Thursday, we skated across the galaxy at Hunt Armory Ice Rink. In addition to ice skating, friends made slime and enjoyed cookies. Back at FC, friends built their own robots, and even got to meet RED the Robot! On Friday, we made art and played games at The Friendship Circle and went over to the JCC for some inflatable activities. See below for some great photos from Day 1, 2, and 3!

FOTT Late Night

Friends on the Town members didn’t miss out on the end-of-the-year fun! On Wednesday, we had dinner and a movie, enjoying pizza from Milky Way before the show. Marissa covered her whole slice in ranch! After dinner, we headed to Waterworks Cinema for a private screening of the new Willy Wonka movie. We ate Laffy Taffy, Wonka Candy, and popcorn and Anniyah, Kai, and David laughed the whole time.

On Thursday, we rang in the new year with a party at FC. Megan’s special FOTT intern, Benny, provided the ball drop by lowering a disco ball from the parent lounge. We also made polaroid keychains in our metallic photo booth and sang and danced to karaoke! Lexi got everyone dancing to the Macarena; Cece, Ryan, and Emily sang some Glee covers; and Logan sang and danced to Cool Kids. Members munched on a tater tot bar and cotton candy throughout the evening.

G-d tells Abraham of his plans to destroy Sodom and Abraham challenges Him. Why must the entire city be destroyed? Aren’t there some folks there worthy of redemption, a few righteous folks in whose… Read More

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT FROM RABBI MORDY This was an eventful week. For many it was devastating; for others, it was cause for celebration. It seems we at least can be sure that our country is as divided as ever. I’m not going to speak directly to the election itself, but to a lesson I hope we all can take… Read More
