FOTT Performs Improv

The FOTT group took a shot at improv comedy on Sunday night. Our friends at Arcade Comedy Theatre led us in fun improv games: during “Dr. Know-It-All,” three members were tasked with answering questions from the audience one word at a time. Then, during “Storybook Ending,” members posed as different set props while a scene unfolded in front of them on stage. The downtown theatre was a great backdrop for making friends and exercising our funny bones! Thanks to Arcade Comedy Theatre for partnering with us to make comedy accessible for all.

Winter Specials Day 1: Pajama Day

Winter Specials Day One: Pajama Day Edition was a huge success! We had so much fun making our own penguins, painting polar bears with forks, sipping hot chocolate, and watching Happy Feet with our friends! Some friends enjoyed an alternative watch party of Frozen, while others got into playing board games. It truly felt like the ultimate Snow Day at FC! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for day one!

Winter Specials Day 2: Urban Air

Winter Specials: Day 2 kicked off with a bang today! To beat the cold, members met at UrbanAir Adventure park for an afternoon full of trampolines and laughter. Friends of The Friendship Circle had an amazing time at the obstacle course, playing dodgeball, jumping on trampolines, and more! We want to thank all of our members who came to celebrate the year’s end with us and we look forward to seeing you all again next year as well as the UrbanAir staff for being so accommodating and flexible!

I’ve Got Nothing

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT FROM RABBI MORDY So, this week I’m in a bit of a conundrum. There is lots going on from a Jewish perspective (we conclude the Book of Exodus, we are almost exactly between Purim and Pesach) but the Parsha – Pekudei – is pretty repetitious. Moses is commanded by G-d to build the Tabernacle a few… Read More

Friends gathered to enjoy a delicious Italian-inspired meal, great conversation, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect way to end the week, surrounded by friendship, laughter, and incredible food. We can’t wait for the… Read More

How it Started Vs. How it’s Going

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT FROM RABBI MORDY This week’s Parsha (Vayakhel) tells of the artisans, the expert craftsmen who produced the Mishkan, the Tabernacle where the Jewish people served G-d in the desert. What is most interesting to note is how little this differs from the previous portions where G-d commands it to Moses and Moses conveys to the Jewish… Read More
