Night at the Museum: ok first off im finally glad I’m getting around to reviewing these 2 films….there one of my favorites….yes I know there’s a third one but I ain’t reviewing it….because I hated it…and forget it….so let’s get onto the plot….
• so in this film a guy named Larry Daley (played by Ben Stiller)….yeah I should say if u or majority of u aren’t Ben Stiller fans then u won’t like these films…..but if u r then try watching these films….but if ur neither a fan of him or hate him and just looking for good comedy…..then um watch these films…..so anyways he’s looking for a job…..but no one is expecting him…..oh did I forget to mention his parenting a boy….named Nick…..I forget what happened to the mother…..ah well….so anyways…..one day Larry Daley goes to the museum…..and applies for a job interview there…..he goes and sees the manager named Dr Mcphee….yeah I don’t know what he’s a Dr of …when he’s in charge of a museum……oh and he’s played by Ricky Gervais. ….he sends Larry Daley to the basement to meet 3 night managers named Cecil, Reginald, Gus……..there 3 old men who are night managers…..oh and Larry Daley is about to land the job of being a night manager…..so he meets these people……Gus…..well he’s bizzare…..he’s tough…..and well he threatens Daley….often….in this film….I don’t know why…..and Cecil….well he’s like the ring leader…..anyways Cecil shows Larry around…..to get known to stuff in this museum……so now Larry accepts the job……oh that night when he comes into his job….Cecil hands Larry a flashlight, keys, and a paper that has notes and instructions…….notes and instructions to what ur probably presuming……well ill get to that in a bit…skipping a bit…that night Larry finds out everything in the museum comes to life……um what….yep exactly…his first encounter is with the giant skeletal T-Rex that’s standing on display in front of the entrance of the museum….yeah it comes to life…and he sees the creature….and Larry starts panicking….because this isn’t normal…..heck he tries to leave…but the doors are locked…..anyways km gonna skim over a bit…..Larry sees everything in the Museum has come to life…..BTW heres one of my favorite scenes

Easter island head: no, ur name dumb dumb…..oh u in trouble dumb dumb….u better run run, from the Atilla the huns huns………
Larry Daley: (runs away)

Hahahahahahahahha 🤣🤣🤣…..so skipping a bit…Larry meets a guy named Teddy Roosevelt (played by Robin Williams….may he rest in peace)…….he gives Larry information on whats happening….he tells him that there’s this tablet that has powers…and it lets the props come to life…..only at night…..why?….idk…..just cus….also Teddy falls in love with a woman named Sacajawea……so yeah…anyways here’s few stuff important that happens ….oh side note here’s a scene of one of Larrys encounters……also there’s a monkey in this film named Dexter…..he causes some problems for Larry……I mean he pees on Larry, he slaps Larry…as u can see in the link below…..
Anyways……
1. Larry finds out if any of the props get outside and stay outside during sunrise…they turn to dust….yikes….BTW one of the caveman props goes outside and turns to dust…uh oh….and here’s one of my favorite scenes
2. Larry tries quiting but he returns…..with his son this time….
3. So in the ending of the second act…..they find out the 3 geezers are evil….thats right……turns out the powers of the tablet thats making the props come to life…has been giving these old geezers….quote on quote powers….so they steel the tablet…..and Larry and his son get locked into the attraction with the mummy thats locked up in his coffin….so they decide to wake up the mummy….his name is Ahkmenrah…..(played by Rami Malek)…..anyways they and everyone in the museum team up……oh right sorry I forgot to mention Larry meets 2 tiny small tiny cowboy named Jedidiah (played by Owen Wilson)….and a small tiny roman named Octavian………anyways they team up to go chase down the 3 geezers……they stop Gus and Reginald…who are still in the museum…..Cecil escapes…..so they get onto Rexy…..if ur wondering who Rexy….is….well its the giant T-Rex…….so they chase down Cecil…..they grab the tablet back……and get all the live props back to the museum…who have escaped…..so they get all the props back….into the museum…..and no Larry doesn’t loose his job….in fact he gets to stay……oh and the film ends with him at the night shift and all the props are alive and having a party…..no wish I kidding …they are partying……..the end….honestly I love this film…..I recommend watching the film….im gonna give this film a solid 9/10
Night at the Museum 2 Battle at the Smithsonian: so let’s get onto the plot….
• in this film……Larry Daley quite his job and started trying to see flashlights…..don’t ask….but one day he goes back to the museum…turns out there sending alot of the props….to Washington DC at the Smithsonian…..I forget why…..but anyways basically all the main characters are being sent to the Smithsonian….except for Teddy Roosevelt and Rexy and Ahkmenrah……..and other props…..and the tablet…….but ill get to that later…….ok ill mention it now…the monkey from the first film….takes the tablet with them…..I forget its name…..oh right Dexter….so anyways Larry Daley heads to his apartment….and that night he gets a called from Jedidiah…he tells Larry that the monkey brought the tablet with them to the Smithsonian…….and now there alive….and some guy named Kah Mun Rah……(Ahkmenrah brother)….well evil brother…….is after the tablet….so now Larry Daley has to go up to Smithsonian all the way in Washington DC…..so when Larry Daley gets there…..he has to find a way to get into the basement of the Smithsonian….he does that by stealing a guards key card…..BTW funny scene….I won’t spoil it…..anyways Larry gets into the giant basement……unfortunately it was turning to night….so he grabs the tablet thats in the storage container with all the props from the museum……..if ur wondering how they got in there….well Kah Mun Rah…and his guards locked our main characters up in the shipping container…..so now since its night time…everything comes to life….including Kah Mun Rah………so Larry is told by Kah Mun Rah he wants the tablet…..to um raise the dead from the door to the underworld……yeah heres one thing with this film series….is that….there’s no cohesive thing when it comes to that tablet….in the first film….it can bring museum objects to life….in the second film…it can and does get used as a key to open up the underworld….in the third film….it all a sudden starts um rusting …and if it rusts up all the way….all the props turn back into props….oh and the way to get it un-rusted…is by ….sigh….aiming it at the son…..good golly…do u see what I mean when I say no cohesiveness?…..oh BTW in the third film we get introduced Kah Mun Rah and Ahkmenrah family…thats right…first film we get introduced to Ahkmenrah….in the sequel…we get introduced to his brother…then in the third film…we get introduced to the family…….how clever…..no seriously…….so back to story…..Larry tricks Kah Mun Rah to follow him to a crate that he calls the cube if Rubic……
……they open it and a giant octopus 
came out of it……and starts attacking them…….so anyways Larry gets saved by a guy named General George Armstrong Custard (played by Bill Hader)…..and oh boy ain’t he funny……so skipping a bit…..he gets introduced to a woman named Amelia Earhart….(played by Amy Adams)……..eh…..im just …..eh about this casting……she becomes the love interest for Larry…….
….don’t think about it to long because it makes no sense…..a wax figure….wanting to have her way with a person……..ok im just gonna say….skip…..so anyways Kah Mun Rah tells Larry to get him the combination to the tablet…so he can open the gate to the underworld…..and how does he convince Larry…well he puts Jedidiah inside a time glass…and he has till over a hour to get the combination…..or else he will die…….so Larry and Amelia Earhart head out to find the combination……oh while this happens……Kah Mun Rah hires some goons……Napoleon Bonaparte, Ivan the Terrible, and Al Capone (played by Bernthal…..u may know him from the walking dead as Shane…..or his role as the Punisher….in the Netflix show The Punisher)…..so anyways also side note we get a dumb joke where I kid u not…Darth Vader and Oscar Grouch….try to join Kah Mun Rah team….🤦♂️…..I I just don’t know why……and why is Vader silent in this scene?…..guess they didn’t gave enough money to hire James Earl Jones…..to voice vader…..so anyways Kah Mun Rah sees Larry leaving the building…so he thinks he’s escaping…..but nope…instead Larry and Amelia are heading to one of the other buildings to talk to the bobble head Einsteins……just “role” with it ….bum bum ding….🤦♂️…..so he sends his goons onto Larry……sigh…….anyways Larry and Amelia find the bobble heads….but first time with a little interaction with Honest Abe
Abe Lincoln: May i just say, u 2 make an adorable couple.
Larry: oh no were not, no no were not i mean, were nor a.
Abe Lincoln: were not a, i mean were not a…blah blah blah…I never lie…the truth is u 2 are adorable together.
hahahahahahahahha 🤣 🤣 🤣….so anyways they get to the building and find the bobble heads…….turns out the combination is PI…..if u don’t know it….think its 3.14159265359……so yeah……now without the code…..napoleon Bonaparte and the rest find Larry…so they have to escape on a plane……sure…..they crash land into Kah Mun Rah throne room he made…..and this leads to my favorite scene…
“Ah u did all 3….u did all 3….u spoke and put ur hand across the line!”………….hahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣……..so anyways Larry ends up not telling him the code…instead Al Capone comes in and tells him the code…….which now allows him to open the …..u know I ain’t saying it again….
So yeah after this cool spectical…..Abe Lincoln comes in and sends the demons back to the underworld….yes Abe Lincoln….u heard that right….because there’s a giant statue of him……so anyways now with the army back in the underworld…and Larry about to be killed…..Larry’s friends come and start attacking Kah Mun Rah and his men….which lead to a battle in the Smithsonian…..get it…because its the title of this film….anyways during this battle….we get my favorite scene….before that…Larry bump into Dexter and another monkey named Abe……if ur wondering why 2 monkeys…well its to do the same gag from the first film…this time double the monkey….so anyways onto my favorite scene
Larry: ok ill hand over the tablet and code…whos in charge?
Al Capone: oh, that be me
Ivan the Terrible: hands off peasant, im the only one here with noble birth
Larry: oh I thought it was napoleon, because of the big hat
Napoleon: (tries grabbing it)
Al Capone: (slaps napoleon hand) if u put ur dirty little hands on that tablet it be the last thing u ever touch..
Ivan the Terrible: why would u touch little nippie!
Napoleon: (speaking french) I an handle this ok
Ivan the Terrible: u can handle nothing!, u can barley speak u fool!
Al Capone: do u know what?…(pushes Ivan to the floor)…ill give it to u…u see that?!…(slaps napoleon in the face)….
Then that scene ends with both of them tackling each other…….lolo….hahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣…..anyways then Larry bumps Kah Mun Rah…and they get into a sword fight….I saw sword fight but Larry usess a flashlight
So yeah after this epic-ish….battle happens….while Amelia is opening the gate to the underworld……as u can see….Larry beats Kah Mun Rah……wow….lost to a night guard with a flashlight….how …”flashy”?…ok ill stop with the dad jokes…….woo-hoo day is saved….and Amelia flies all of Larry and his friends back to there museum…..that must have take alot of trips…..anyways the film ends with museum reopening….and now have a night time showing…..no one knows that the props are alive…they and the manager thinks this is all Animatronics……just go with it….so yeah the museum is back….and I really like the end credits because of the music….the end credits music is of my only favorite Jonas Brothers music….thats right….the Jonas Brothers….
The end….overall I really love this film….I highly recommend it….im gonna give this film a solid 9/10
