Mark’s Fun at Kennywood (even in the rain!)

Categories: Friendship Circle

Last weekend, I went to Kennywood with Friendship Circle.  When we arrived there, it started to rain. But lucky for me, my dad gave me a poncho to keep me dry.  I went on some rides like the exterminator, the racer and the black widow. My favorite ride was the exterminator.  We also had a barbeque at the pavilion and celebrated one of the staff’s birthdays. The whole group went and we all had fun.  We were there until 4:00. I’d like to go there again next year as long as it doesn’t rain. We rode a school bus to Kennywood and a school bus back to Friendship Circle.  I had a good time spending the day with my friends even if it was raining.

Commemorate the Future?!

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT BY RABBI MORDY Tonight begins the last days of Passover. These are days that commemorate the splitting of the Sea of Reeds (being approximately a week after the Jewish people were freed) as well as celebrate — strangely, in anticipation of—the future Redemption. Much is discussed about what “the Redemption” means and people tend to have… Read More
