I-Volunteer

A heartwarming evening spent cooking, connecting, and giving back! FC’s Friends on the Town friends came together to prepare a delicious meal—matzo ball soup and noodle kugel —for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh which is dedicated to supporting those with sick children. While the meal was cooking, we shared snacks, great conversations, and worked on puzzles as we celebrated the joy of giving. It was a night of cooking fun, making a meaningful difference one meal at a time.

The Parsha begins, “V’yikchu li Terumah,” which literally translates to mean, “And they shall take to me (G-d) contributions.” I translate literally because this word is confusing. Take? Isn’t “give” the more appropriate term? There must be… Read More
