Art Club

Friendship Circle’s Fall Series for Art Club concluded with an overflow of creativity and talent from our members. Friends dove into an interactive hour of stamp making, collage-making, and kinetic sand resulting in dozens of unique creations. From the myriad of scattered crafting materials rose constructs of dragons, robots and castles (oh my!) along with the confidence of our members to let their creative juices flow!

Teen Leadership Board Meeting

The Teen Leadership Board met on Sunday 9/29 to discuss FC’s mission and their roles and responsibilities for serving on the board this year. They discussed their roles at FC programming, outside of FC, and how to be a role model in our community. Two of the TLB presidents, Reese and Chavi discussed what it means to be on Host Committees and to help plan programming. We also spoke about the Walk4Friendship and how their involvement will make such a difference in the event! Looking forward, we are so excited for this amazing group of teen leaders and to see the wonderful ideas they come up with throughout the year!

After gathering in front of The Friendship Circle on Murray Avenue for a warm-up and some Bunny Bakes coffee, we walked together to Wightman Park for a carnival celebration. Together we enjoyed carnival food, face paint, games, and… Read More

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT FROM RABBI MORDY This was an eventful week. For many it was devastating; for others, it was cause for celebration. It seems we at least can be sure that our country is as divided as ever. I’m not going to speak directly to the election itself, but to a lesson I hope we all can take… Read More
