Summer Meet & Greet

Our first Summer Meet & Greet was sunshine and smiles on the rooftop as well as through town on our walk to Rita’s! Griffin and Menucha Leah enjoyed playing with fun inflatables and taking silly pictures. We listened to music, played lawn games, and got together to strut down Murray Ave to get our Italian Ice which was a nice sweet treat on a hot day. Avi and Theo enjoyed looking at the shops on our walk and talking with community members on the way. Members enjoyed mango, cherry, cotton candy, and lemon flavored ice and we walked back to FC to end the day. It was so nice spending some time outside, and we can’t wait to do it again in July!

Shoftim means “judges,” referring to, as Moses reiterates, those appointed to carry out the principle of “Justice, justice you shall pursue.” Moses then continues to reiterate various laws, including one at the end of the Parsha called the “Eglah Arufa.” It… Read More
