Family Fun

We had a great time at Family Fun on Sunday! Members watched a puppet show about the library, made “Cookie Monster” parfait desserts, and created superheroes and princesses with “Make-a-Face” sticker sheets. We finished the morning by singing about making new friends for the music circle. We were glad to see lots of new friends around and watch new friendships form!

Young Adult Network Happy Hour at The Forge

We enjoyed a Holiday Happy Hour with our Young Adult Network members, staff, and friends on Monday! The Forge provided delicious Mediterranean food and holiday-themed drinks. Kalen took some great pictures with the Polaroid camera and Jarrod made us all laugh with his movie reviews! Happy Holidays and see you all in the new year!

Art Club

Art club was WILD with the animal crafts on Tuesday! Friends made rainbow scratch animal masks and foam bookmarks. Bears and cats were the most popular craft! Members also made bunnies, pandas, and all sorts of other animals with socks and stuffing. Some friends even made fire-breathing dragons and hanging giraffes out of many different materials. We also painted in the gallery; we loved Meira’s toucan, Etti’s panda, and Aviva’s trees!

There is lots going on from a Jewish perspective (we conclude the Book of Exodus, we are almost exactly between Purim and Pesach) but the Parsha – Pekudei – is pretty repetitious. Moses is commanded by G-d to build the Tabernacle a few… Read More
